NAVASSIST provides non-clinical patient navigation services to support Medicare patients in following through on complex treatment plans developed by their physicians and care teams, addressing coordination activities that fall outside the exam room.

Patients often leave visits feeling overwhelmed about what happens next. They need referrals, follow-ups, tests, scheduling assistance, help with insurance concerns and overall emotional support. A fragmented healthcare system makes things disjointed and confusing.
NAVASSIST supports patients with all of these concerns, decreasing their stress levels and helping them stay on track with their care plan.

When services qualify under Medicare guidelines, reimbursement is made directly to NAVASSIST LLC. Patients are not responsible for managing Medicare billing.
Yes. Medicare-covered navigation services require a physician or qualified healthcare professional to initiate or approve services as part of your care plan. At NAVASSIST, we respond to physician referrals within 24 hours. Additionally, we reach out to clinical practices on behalf of patients that request our services directly through other channels.
Yes. Medicare recognizes Primary Illness Navigation (PIN) services when ordered by a physician and provided under appropriate supervision and documentation standards. NAVASSIST is becoming a licensed provider of PIN services and able to bill Medicare for reimbursement directly.

Patient navigation is ongoing, patient-centered support focused on helping you carry out your physician’s plan and addressing real-life barriers between visits, when your support options are slim.
